World Water Day!

We learned all about water

What objects sink or float? We used marbles,fruits,vegetables,rocks and toys.

What does water feel like,sound like and taste like? We poured and splashed in water. We also tasted the difference between tap, bottled and salt water.

We learned that water is a liquid and it can change shape.

We saw how water moves around a jar and up into a plant.

We froze strawberries in water. Then used warm water to unfreeze them and eat them for snack.Then we made snow from ice.

The kids threw rocks into the ocean to see how water moves and they weighed water to see how heavy it is.
