Max the bear sets his semovar to boil. I explained why the water boils and freezes. Lily and Aj did an experiment using thermometers, boiling water and ice cold water.
Mathematics-(time,days of the week)
In this book Borris the bear has his dance lessons 3 days a week at a certain time. We talked about time.We played a game using a clock and telling time. We discussed how many days in a week and Lily copied the days of the week in a work book.
Art-(Architecture)
In this book their is a picture of the Russian skyline. We found that these buildings were very different from the buildings around us. They have onion shapped turrets and unusual colors. We looked at pictures of St. Basils Cathedral,The Kremlin and Red Square. After we decided to cut and color turrets out of paper. Then paste them on a larger piece of paper. We drew many shapes using rulers to make a picture of our own Russian skyline.
