Chapter 3- The Doughnuts
Chapter Summary-
Homer works at his Uncle Ulysses lunch room. The doughnut machine goes crazy and won't stop making doughnuts. A lady lost her bracelet in the doughnut batter. Everything works out when all the doughnuts sell and the lady finds her bracelet.

The kids completed a review work sheet with questions about the chapter.
Fine Arts- Making Salt Dough Doughnuts
The children used salt and flour to make the clay doughnuts. Then we baked them in the oven on 200 degrees for a couple of hours. We they were done they painted them. This was fun alternate to baking real doughnuts.
