March Book Station

This month we will be learning about Europe with a concentration on Ireland. We will also be reading about important woman in history, St Patricks day and Little House on the Prairie.

Charlotte's Web

The book Charlotte's Web was a hit with the kids! Here are some activities we have done along with reading the book.

We colored and cut out the paper characters from the book. The kids have enjoyed playing with them in the barn.

We painted Wilber.

We have also been learning about spiders and pigs.

When we finished the book we watched the movie!

African American history month

This month we have been learning about Africa, famous African Americans and African art!

We made African masks and were working on a weaving project.

Here are some of the books we have been reading this month! We watched a great movie too!

We learned about George Washington carver by doing a potato experiment, making peanut people and eating lots of peanuts!
