We read books and made a tee-pee!

Learning about Europe

We read some exciting books about Europe. It was fun to learn about the statue of liberty and how it was a present from France. We also colored a map and played soccer.

Human Body- all about me!

We learned all about our bodies! We colored skeletons, made a picture of our organs inside our bodies and read books.

Race Point Beach, Providence Town and National Seashore

Today we went to Cape Cod National Seashore. We saw the old coast guard station and light house.

Next we went to Race point beach and saw whales and seals swimming alongside the beach.

Finally we headed to Providence town for a walk on Commercial st and the harbor. We stopped at the candy store and had lunch.

Lets go on a hike!

We took a hike on a warm day in Eastham. We saw lots of animals, birds and spring plant life.We climbed rocks and had so much fun.

Still life Drawing and Art fun!

Today we learned to listen to our eyes not our brain!We thought about the tools artists use to draw and learned about basic shapes.

Looks can be deceiving. We looked at pictures we thought was one object but it was also another.

We did scribble art. We drew lines on our paper without picking up our pencil. Then we looked to see what shapes and objects we saw in our picture.

We drew still life pictures of fruit.

Laura Ingalls Wilder We read "Little House on the Prairie" along with other condensed picture books.The kids had fun learning about Laura's life by doing arts and crafts,playing games,watching a movie and wearing clothes that were popular in the 1800's.

We made a wagon.

Books and movie.

Pick up sticks.

We also made log cabins,homemade butter,and cookies using Laura's cook book.
