Washington DC- Getting ready for our trip!

Before we went to Washington D.C We wanted to spend time learning about the city, memorials and the places we would explore while we were there. We went to the library and borrowed tons of books, movies and CD's about Washington DC. We also went on-line, did worksheets and made our own book. We found a small replica of the Lincoln Memorial and learned about! We left the day after Veterans day so we did spend time learning about the military, government and veterans also.
