Spring Fun

April Showers Bring May Flowers

We have had fun doing spring projects. We colored umbrellas, painted flowers and planted grass to watch the roots grow. We also read some great books.

We colored umbrellas for our April wall- Lily also made a rainy day picture.


Lily and Aj painted flowers using finger paints. We made stamps using card board and bubble wrap.


We put seeds in plastic bags with paper towels so we could watch the seeds grow.


Spring books we read-

Our Pet Caterpillars. Look what happens!

We have a new pet. We ordered 5 caterpillars by mail. We can't wait to see what happens to our new friends. Day 1- Arrival Day

Day 7-Getting bigger and working their way to the top of the container.

Day 14-The caterpillars turned into chrysalis

10 days latter!- They have emerged from their chrysalis!

Release day-

We also read a book about butterflies, we put pictures in chronological order and we colored necklaces.
