Herring Run

We went to the Herring Run Recreation area to take a class and learn about the Herring and why they return to Cape Cod every year!

Daffodil Festival in Sandwich

We went to the Daffodil Festival in sandwich ma. It was a cold, wet day but we still had fun.

We planted our own flowers

We made art.

We got to enjoy a story about Peter Rabbit from Green Briar Nature Center.

We met a rabbit.

We made animal tracks, learned about fur and scat.

Exploring Ponds!

We went to the Mashpee Library where we listened to a lecture, had a book read to us and did some crafts about ponds and animals.

We got to hold turtle shells.

Happy Earth Day 2014!

Today we went to the 

Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster, Ma.

 We also read some great books about the Earth!

Inside the Museum on the main floor we saw birds, did experiments, played in sand and so much more.

On the second floor we saw fish and sea creatures in the aquarium.-

We also made art at an art class-

We went on a hike to the sea shore and salt marsh-

We talked about recycling and learned about plants.-

We played in a sandbox with a shark.-

When we got home we read some books about the Earth-
