March Book Station!

This Month we are finishing up learning about Italy. Marco Polo is one of the people we are reading about who was born in Italy. One of our favorite holidays is coming up~ St Patrick's day!!! Check out the books we picked about that holiday. Lily and Aj want to learn all about cats and pet care so we got some books about that subject. Also we have books about our eyes and Helen Keller because its Woman's History month. I picked books about different kinds of families including adoption and homeless children too!

Happy Birthday Dr Seuss!!

Yesterday was Dr Seuss's Birthday. We made a Red and white hat out of construction paper and wrote rhyming words on it! Making a fish bowl with red fish, blue fish, one fish and two fish was fun for the kids too! Lily and Aj went on a book hunt to find all the Dr. Seuss books in the house. After we read a few books and watched a movie. We ended the day with a yummy, silly snack!

We had fun at the marine life animal center in Buzzards Bay. We went to learn about sharks. They made a craft and had a book read to them. We got to meet turtles, learn about sick marine animals and had tons of fun!

Science fair in Boston- At the family Science days in Boston we touched a snake, made a rocket and shot it in the sky, played with robots and learned a lot about science!
