Book Summary-
  This Book relates the early life, struggles, and achievements of the Black botanist who became a pioneer in agricultural research.  

George Washington Carver is one my children's favorite scientists. His life is such an example of perseverance. He took advantage of every opportunity to learn-- under impossible circumstances. It’s a great book to read and also a good  book for children to read themselves. Before we started on the chapter book. We read 2 pictures books together. The kids also watched a video and completed language art worksheets.
