This is a classic Story that we decided to read. While it's story line and plot twists are definitely 19th century, it's still a fun read and blows away the latest movie. While we have seen and enjoyed movies made from Jules Verne books, this was the first Verne book that we have read. Fortunately, we enjoyed Around the World in 80 Days as much or more than the movie. We are even more amazed that Verne had not gone to all of these places himself.
